As we head into 2013, we realize that we are now about 19 months away from the CMA and the Blanchette Family Reunion. That means it's time to make some serious plans!
2012 brought the application process and notification that we have been selected to host a reunion, as well as the CMA's first family reunion planning meeting (thank you to May & Ellery Bouchard for attending!) We are now more equipped to actually plan the event, with knowledge of what has worked well in the past for other groups, and what our options are in the area.
I am hopeful that 2013 will bring some in-person meetings of the planning committee, as well as new faces who are willing to give input (giving ideas and opinions is never really lacking in this family!) As we are so spread out throughout the country, it is difficult to meet in person, but I'd like to start an e-mail group for those interested. Please let me know if you'd like to be included in such e-mails.
I would also like to create the contact list this year, and am once again asking for everyone to send their contact information in. Some already have, but it's important we reach as many Blanchettes as possible. Please send a quick e-mail to blanchettefamilyreunion@gmail.com (copy and paste e-mail address into a new e-mail... there have been some issues not receiving e-mails sent from clicking the link) and include your name, address, and e-mail address. Feel free to pass this link on to other family members, as well.
Contact information will not be shared with others. It will only be used for information about this reunion.
